Courier

 

Courier is your messenger between QuickBooks / QuickBooks Point of Sale and your online web store. Courier handles the data-transfer between these two systems so you don't have to, saving you time and money. These powerful tools provided by Courier do the work you would have done by hand, freeing you up for other tasks.

Courier is able to import and export:

  • Item Records: Items as they are set up in QuickBooks can be transferred to the web. The Item Detail Editor add-on formats this information and adds data that would not be available in QuickBooks, such as image files.
  • Customer Records: Customers who currently exist in your QuickBooks / QuickBooks Point of Sale can have their profiles created on your online store. Online accounts can be created for all existing customers based on their offline data. As new orders are imported, the customer information is also imported into your QuickBooks--thereby maintaining the customer profile in both places.
  • Category Hierarchy: Your department structure from QuickBooks Point of Sale can be exported as a set of categories on your site. In QuickBooks there are other easy-to-use options for defining these categories.
  • Orders Records: Online orders can be downloaded instantly into QuickBooks the moment they are placed.
  • Inventory Stock Levels: Inventory stock levels from your online store will be kept in sync with the levels you set in QuickBooks. This function prevents you from selling an item that you do not have in stock.

Drupal Module Downloads

When setting up Courier or Courier Lite, you will need to install one of these modules on your Drupal site.  The webservice exposed by the module will live at the following URL format: "http://www.yoursite.com/courier". Use this address in Courier when setting up.
